several weeks ago i was told that on my next orthodontist visit i would be getting braces, but today they say that they never said that and it is a very common procedure to take four more x-rays on the third visit after the five that they took on the second visit. if anyone understood that i'll be in awe. so apparently on my last visit something went wrong with one of the x-rays they took and they had to re-do it, and then remold my teeth and polish them with crushed volcanic ashe!! it was a very enduring process as you can see. now i'm home with plastic spacers that are trully uncomfortable that took three different people to put in, no joke, but all is well and on Valentines day i will be getting my metal installed, how romantic.

the pictures i forgot to put up

the march4life in a nutshell: cold, wet, rainy, loud, inspiring, my thumbs hurt afterward, the weather did nothing for my poor hair, i now have a bad runny nose; it helped me get hours for cumunity service, even thought i spent all weekend babysitting and cleaning, while my siblings went to baseball clinics and b-day parties, the 36 hours i put in can't be counted since i do this nearly every day (i'm currently using blogging as a way out of cleaning the dishes that took only 1/2 a day to accumulate to a full on diaster) that is way off track though and i fear this blog may turn into a hate site if i keep it up, anyway the first picture of myself i've put up on the internet!!

school is so much fun
today was the first day of the third quarter, fun. this means that my schedule that i was just beginning to figure out had to be changed so that i have to go up a level for a class i didn't know i would be starting!! this class happened to be health, more fun. so i went to health, and afterward i got confused and went to lunch instead of World geo, so i had to walk into the middle of the class confused and embarrassed, poor little me. but all this is really rather dull in comparison to the fact that the theatre arts class has no stage on which to perform our play!!! the spring production has begun work and has suspended our performance for another two weeks (gasp). today really has been quite a drama. on a brighter note, i curled my hair and it stayed curly!! this is really quite an accomplishment considering the weather was very gloomy and the air was really thick and cold!! also even though after health there was a problem, the class itself was not half as bad as i thought it would be, we all made lists of places we would rather be then in that class, here were the top three picked: abroad (too many countries/states were named to put them all up), asleep, or Starbucks. Starbucks just barely beat the Superbowl by one vote. some of the funnier places mentioned were: a mattress store, dead, the Vegas All-star game, and/or a playboy mansion (the girls were thoroughly disgusted by the boys insensitivity, the guys obviously didn't care).
what a fun day. (the Starbucks picture was taken by my dad when he was in China)

embryos and abortion
here's a waker-upper 80% of down-syndrome embryos are killed in the womb, in other words are aborted. this is completely unnecessary, there are plenty of people who are waiting to adopt and are desperate for children. there are laws that protect children with down-syndrome here, but when in the womb are unprotected and are likely to be killed, "Whats the difference? Location?" Senator Brownback, questioned in his speech a few minutes ago. "this is an inconvenient truth..." and it gets worse... women have to be told of the pain the embryo will experience, and have inflicted on it. and after hearing this you have to wounder... if they give anesthetic to the baby when they do surgury within the womb, how can they say that the baby dosn't have feeling? people tend to de-humanise the embryo.

a little verification needed
Stem cell research: the good, the bad, and what we refuse to tolerate:
Embryonic stem cell research: BAD, must kill embryo to get cells, we do not stand for this.
Adult stem cell research: GOOD, cures and helps fight disease.
Senator Brown Back is about to start speacking so i have to go back to the meeting room now...

for everyone who hasn't heard of weird al....

weird al is this guy from our parents generation who had some radio show or something and now he does spoofs of popular songs and alot of preteen boys find his music amusing like: Complicated song--based after Avril Lagvines song Complicated, White-n-Nerdy after Chamillionare's Ridin' and Canadian idiot after Green Days American Idiot, to name a few-- his real name is Alfred Yankovic. its amazing what little brothers can teach you...
i was inspired to clarify when i found this persons blog who had posted a video who she thought was done by eleven year-olds, but i thought there music chioce for the video would have been a bit more to date if eleven year-olds had filmed it
here is a pic of Alfred's new cd:

i'm blaming the radio

there is nothing more frightening then hereing your six year old sister singing Akon "Smack That" and then your two year old brother walk in singing Chamillionare "Ridin'", i fear i may have corrupted my siblings--except for my twoyear old brother it was the Pnzr commander who listened to the Weird Al version of "white and nerdy" and tought him

yesterday
i tried something new... i wore PINK!?! okay so it was more of a red but it was in the same family. i wore this cute little mini dress over black jeans (i had to wear something black) and a pair of corduroy rocket dogs that had this fun Hawaiian flower pattern in black. anyway you're probably asking what the special occasion was, yesterday was the first day of school for the second time this year only this time i walked into a public school quadruple the size of my old private school. and it was heavenly to walk in there wearing something other than a primarily starch based button down shirt and navy blue skirt(i was one of the few who avoided the pleated plaid skirts) anyway there was two assemblies so the schedule was a little screwed up so i didn't have my theatrics/drama class and math, but who in their right mind likes math?? so i didn't miss too much
i hope-yeah right i missed the entire firstquarter and i'm hoping i didn't miss anything!

for everyone with a six year old sister
this is really random but so are all my post. i am in my new house with my family and my little sister's watching the Wonder Pets save a cow from a tree and it is quite a spectacle to watch her and my younger brother both singing along to the little gerbil (or whatever it is) singing "lets save the cow!!"
