the exorsist stairs

God has given coaches a place to punish their crew team. we ran 5 sets of stairs-75 steps total, fifhteen times. i'm not sure if want to do the math...
that picture is for real, we RAN that so if you think you have issues, youare mistaken. anyone with the lack of socail life to not only run them but do them again and again and again, needs serious serious help.

a sport?

i have completely lost my sanity and presence of mind clearly, and have come to grips with the fact that it is my own fault. i have joined the high school Crew team. the sport were you go down on the river and row till your shoulders become dislocated and when the waters are too choppy we run till we puke and yes, we have practise for two hours everyday. it is a lot of fun and is guaranteed to get you into shape in 48 hours or less.

settings and why i love to change them

if you wear the same shirt all week how do you feel on Friday? pretty crappy right? well if the same shirt doesn't work all week then why should the colors and settings on your blog be any different? the turtle just looks cool and has absolutely nothing to do with this post.

once upon a time...

fill in the blank, i have something like twenty different nursury rhymes come to mind including: Peter Pan (i love him, and of of course Tinkerbell), Mother Goose, Hansel and Gretal, Sleeping beauty, Cinderella, and for some reason Mary Popins. all these common childrens stories have the same basic plot and theme,good-triumphs-over-evil and damsel-in-distress-gets-rescued-by-the-hero kind of thing. fairy-tales, fables, bed time stories, Disney for crying out loud,, i miss them so much, it's depressing to see Walt-Disney Pictures coming out with movies that were unthought of back in Disney's time, like Cinderella 3: a twist in time--or something like that, come on what ever happened to Bambi? stories about little kids having fun and being kids, now it's trying to reveal what the real story behind Little Red-Riding Hood is or Spy-Kids out to save the world from a video game (wow, it felt corny just typing that). what has our society come to?

Carrie Lukas from IWF (independent womens forum) just finished speaking and will be over at the book signing shortly. there are Pro-lifer's (myself included), there are Muslims for America, lots of different universities, CWA (concerned women for America, also where my grandmother Dr. Janice Crouse works, she will be speaking later), authors of various books and people promoting different peoples books, like Ann Coulters people (she is so awesome) and Angela McGlowan just dropped by our table promoting her new book Bamboozled, a book i will be reviewing as soon as i finish.
